Really impressive, but I confess it left me feeling overwhelmed with so many cool things to look at or try. I just need to take a deep breath and think about what makes sense for me.

Have you got any intel on YouTube vs Substack videos? I guess it’s the search engine power of YT. And I love Descript too!

I’m sure Notion is awesome, but the learning curve was too steep for me at the time I tried it. Maybe I’ll take another look.

Thanks, Elizabeth,

Yeah, I get that. I've always been a bit of a 'tool' junkie - but I only use a handful (I have fun finding them and checking them out for the newsletter).

Re YouTube vs Substack videos: YES! I sort of have intel, lol. I've posted a couple natively to Substack, and the Napkin AI video (the most underrated AI tool post I did) did really well. The second one I did on the Women, Wisdom, & Wealth newsletter (smaller list - and also why I'm merging them into one cohesive brand - doing both is too much) did pretty well, too. Not really an 'apples to apples' comparison because of the size of each list (and content in the videos).

I tested it because it seems Substack is pushing (or at least liking) video. I want to test embedding a YouTube video vs. natively uploading a similar type of video to the same list on Substack.

Lastly, for what it's worth, I felt the exact same way about Notion for years. I went back because it integrates with so much and ChatGPT told me it could create the CSV files for me. lol.

I'm thinking about doing a visual guide to Notion of the basics. I'm such a visual learner & love seeing the steps.

I'm sure I'll share as I go.

I love your build in public approach and sharing. It's so helpful to get in an insight glimpse into your brain and how you approach things. As always, practical and real!

And of course I left Notion a while back and am now wanting to revisit hearing how it fits in your current workflow. I'm currently using a very minimal markdown editor for writing called Typora, which I absolutely love, but organizing content etc Notion really excels at.

By the way, absolutely LOVE Napkin; thanks so much for sharing that little nugget.

p.s. loving your YouTube videos!
