Spot on. Everyone wants to create frameworks and funnels and I’m over here simply being a human and talking to people.

Thanks, Susan,

"Being human and talking to people" ... it really is as simple as that. 😊

Technology is amazing and it helps us be more efficient and productive but you're right – there has to be a human element to it all.

I love technology - but it’s way too easy to get caught up in figuring out tools, and created complicated processes and systems.

I’ve seen way too many people get stuck in this phase and we miss out on their genius.

Wow, I love everything about this post. I love my tech tools, but there is no substitute for human connection, and I've been writing about the power of connection for 20+ years. I love author and entrepreneur Joanna Penn (always an early adopter of technology) who says to the skeptics: "We just have to double down on being human." Hear, hear!

And let me jump on your spotlight bandwagon in mentioning Denise Wakeman. She has long been my guide for navigating the rough waters of online business and visibility.

Thank you, Elizabeth!

You've inspired me to send personal handwritten notes again; thank you!!!

And now I have another entrepreneur to check out (Joanna Penn!).

Denise is amazing at everything she does... and a truly good human to boot! :-)

Yet another masterpiece, Kim! You're so right about focusing on the fundamentals. There's a LOT of noise out in the world right now. As a result, so many of us are feeling a sense of overwhelm and burnout. But, if we take a breath and recommit ourselves to the fundamentals — both in our personal and professional lives — much of that noise will be filtered out. Thanks for the reminder! Also, thanks for the mention!! I really appreciate it!
