Stop Asking AI to Write...Start Asking It to Build
A guide for the endlessly curious on finding the magic in the machine and creating what you truly want.
There’s a lot of noise right now, isn’t there? Constant debates and doom-style articles about artificial intelligence and all the things it’s poised to take over.
✔️ Jobs.
✔️ Content.
✔️ Creativity.
The narrative is one of replacement, of obsolescence. And if you’ve built your business on a foundation of authenticity, human connection, and doing things with heart, I get why that narrative feels unsettling. It can feel like a direct threat to the very things you value most.
But I want to invite you to step back from the noise with me.
What if we’ve been asking the wrong questions?
What if we stopped focusing on what AI might take away and started asking what it could help us make possible? 🤔
Let’s talk about “beyond the basics”
For a while now, the most common question has been, "Can AI write my blog posts for me or repurpose what I’ve already created?" While that’s a piece of the puzzle, it’s quickly becoming an outdated starting point (zero judgment here).
An entirely different, more powerful conversation is already underway among those who look beyond the things that initially excited us when ChatGPT became mainstream.
This isn't about building a hands-off business where you’re replaced by a machine. Frankly, for most heart-centered entrepreneurs, that was never the goal anyway. The real opportunity is about building in ways we never could before—faster, with more expansive creativity, and in deep alignment with how we truly want to work and live.
It’s not about being less human. It’s about creating the bandwidth to be more of who you are.
What If AI Could Be Your Co-Creator?
I’m not here to convince you to use AI if it doesn’t feel right for you.
However, I invite you to zoom out and consider what becomes possible when you see it not as a replacement, but as a partner.
What if AI could help you:
Build your first app? Imagine turning your signature process—that unique framework you guide clients through—into a tangible, interactive tool. You could create a small app or web-based program that serves your clients and generates a new revenue stream, all without writing a single line of code yourself.
Create a deeply personal onboarding flow? Instead of a generic welcome sequence, you could design an automated system that feels like a warm conversation, guiding new clients, gathering information, and making them feel seen and supported from the moment they say "yes"—without you hiring a developer.
Turn your intellectual property into an interactive quiz? You could transform your core teachings into a "What's Your Type?" quiz or a visual framework that helps potential clients self-identify their challenges (wink-wink… since I’m building an AI-powered quiz app). It’s a powerful way to add value upfront and attract the right people to your world.
Design smarter systems that reduce your mental load? Think of the administrative drag that weighs on you—the scheduling, the follow-ups, the project management. AI-powered systems can handle these logistical details, freeing up your mind from decision fatigue so you can focus on strategy, client work, and the creative vision only you can provide.
The Rise of the Creative Operator
As this shift occurs, a new kind of role is emerging, one that many of you are already stepping into without even realizing it has a name.
Let’s call it the Creative Operator.
You're not just a creator who makes things. You're not just a business owner who manages things. You’re the visionary who sees the systems behind the creativity. You get to be the architect of your business, building tools, workflows, and frameworks that feel aligned, scalable, and—most importantly—spacious.
The Creative Operator doesn’t just work in the business; they design the business itself to be a reflection of their values and a support for their life.
This is where AI becomes incredibly exciting. It provides the toolkit to build the very structures you’ve envisioned, bridging the gap between your big ideas and your technical capacity.
That’s true sovereignty. That’s ultimate creative control.
Not to mention… as entrepreneurs and creators, we know exactly what we wish we had. Instead of waiting for someone else to create it, you can create what you want and need!
And here’s the thing… You don’t have to want to launch a mega-company that grows and scales in a way that doesn’t support the life you want.
Solve a genuine problem for your ideal customer or client and see where it takes you.
Remember that big companies with venture capital backing often lack insight into your customers’ struggles and challenges. They don’t understand the little nuances that you’ve heard directly from your customers.
From Idea to Impact, With Intention
This space needs more, ahem… “mature” entrepreneurs. 😉
Think of all the experiences, challenges, lessons, and successes you’ve had. That is something that can only be acquired through age and experience.
Combine that wisdom with AI, and NOTHING is stopping you.
So here is your invitation for the week:
What if this wave of new technology—the very thing you're wary of or are only using for a fraction of its capability—is actually the doorway to more freedom?
What if the call isn’t to “keep up” with the frantic pace of change, but to consciously choose to create differently? Not from a place of fear, but from a place of alignment, curiosity, and bold possibility.
You don’t have to be a coder, a designer, or a futurist to do this. You just have to be willing to see your own brilliance and give it a try.
The tools are here.
The rules?
You get to write those.

Tomorrow I’ll be sharing a link to the quiz I’ve created in TypeQuiz (my app).
I assume most of you reading are on my list already (some may be reading directly on Substack), but I’d love it if you still took the quiz. You’ll get an idea of how the app works, and your own “Business Within” archetype results will be stored in your subscriber record in Kit.
I’m going to host a live webinar in a couple of weeks, sharing the app and some behind-the-scenes of how I created it.
I’m SUPER excited!!!
Have a wonderful day.
With coffee & kindness,
Kim
Thanks for the shoutout, Kim. I look forward to seeing your quiz. Love all the "vibe coding" experiments you're doing!
Love this lens, Kim!
And after all, AI doesn’t just lower the cost of executition, it also lowers the cost of experimentation. You don’t need a dev, a designer, or a big budget to test an idea anymore.
You just need the guts to try.
When people realize they can turn wisdom they’ve already earned, like their own frameworks, insights, playbooks into tools others can use, they’ll feel so much more empowered.
Thanks for mentioning me, appreciate it!
